Dear Steelers Organization,
We the undersigned respectfully request there be a 'Heath Miller Day' at one of the home games this season. We understand Heath is too humble to make a big deal of his retirement but we want to show him OUR LOVE. Heath Miller is the best Tight End in Steelers' history and deserves to be acknowledged. 592 receptions for 6,569 and 45 touchdowns, with many of those receptions being in clutch situations is a career worthy of celebration.
A two-time Pro Bowl selection and 2012 Steelers' MVP, Heath is one of only a handful of Tight Ends to have +6,000 career yards.. Heath was one of the main reasons we have made it to 3 Super Bowls during the course of his career. Please, allow us fans to show him the love and appreciation he so rightly deserves. We had no chance to give Heath a standing ovation on his final play as a Steeler. Having a 'Heath Miller Day' would allow us to correct that and show Heath how much Steeler Nation loves him, how we appreciate his career and all wish him well.

The scale of this response has caught the attention of local media outlets. I am currently coordinating times for interviews to ensure the request reaches the front office through official channels.

Being from Southwest Va. I followed Heath's high school career as well as his collage days at UVA. When he was drafted by the Steelers I was the happiest fan in Steeler Nation. Heath deserves every accolade we can give him. Much love to 83.
I thought of this idea 2 days after he Retired. But i suggest the Pats game to be 83 day..To one of the best TE's. In the league..THANK U H...E..A....T...H..MILLER..
I live 30 mins from the University of VA and watched Heath his whole college career. I lived in Pittsburgh from 2002 to 2006 and was fortunate to watch him during his pro career. I have been a Steelers fan since the mid 70s and still am to this day. He is one of the greatest Steelers of all time and deserves a day to salute his fans one last time. Thank You
How down to the bet tight end in Steelers history. This man is a great dude to be able to catch so many touchdowns and provide some of the sickest blocks for the running backs we had in black and yellow requires a standing ovation and an oncor when he enters the HOF. Go Steelers
