Orologio restaurant at 162 Avenue A is now for sale. A restauranteur from Portland, OR has proposed to buy it and the liquor license and transform this neighbrohood restaurant into another very expensive, high-end tourist destination restaurant and bar called the Beagle. Here is a sample of items from the menu:

The menu clearly shows this is not a business that will serve the needs of the community and will bring more cabs, limos and crowds of tourists to Ave. A b/t 10th & 11th. Please join us in opposing the opening of this establishment. We feel the neighborhood needs businesses that serve the needs of residents, not tourists.
