The city finally approved the Willow Tree project and common sense prevailed for our neighborhood. I am relieved that we pushed past the noise to secure this future for Halifax. Let us keep a close watch to ensure construction moves forward smoothly now.

We just hit one hundred signatures and I am incredibly grateful to see so many people prioritizing our city's growth. It feels validating to know that we are finally drowning out the voices trying to keep Halifax stuck in the past.

I started this because I am tired of seeing our city stagnate while a few loud voices dictate the future of our housing. People have been reaching out to tell me they are exhausted by the current gridlock and want to see actual growth on the peninsula.

I walk by that corner every single day and know how much this development will revitalize our neighborhood. We are just a few signatures away from hitting our next goal so please help me push this over the line right now.

Halifax has long needed a corridor of modern high density buildings. This area is prime for redevelopment and this proposal is beautiful and practical. The Commons is a wonderful area that we should not alter, but building up around the perimeter should be a priority.

Lived in that neighborhood until recently This is a decent project in an appropriate area that will continue the revitalization of the Peninsula, the City in general and a neighbourhood that needs to be rebuilt.

Please consider allowing the height to be returned to the 29 stories that was approved in 2016. Halifax must be BOLD, not shrivel to Willow tree group. We are a growing population and need access to options that dont just include south end single dwelling homes.

I believe that 29 storeys is appropriate for this site and would go a long way to support densification required on the peninsula. You can't deny prjeccts like this this and complain about urban sprawl at the same time.

Please let this city grow! I worked in the old willow tree until recently and it's time for it to come down. I also frequent the Commons and do not see how this design will impede anything from being subject to Sunshine given the pathway of the sun. Modernize this archaic city.

being a newer Haligonian who has moved here from Toronto I must say don't let a few people ruin the development of this beautiful city vertical density is the more environmentally friendly and economically best way to develop don't let a few NIMBY's ruin planning

I am support of a 25-storey, 29-storey, or an even higher building. We need vision and progress in this city.
