I am support of a 25-storey, 29-storey, or an even higher building. We need vision and progress in this city.

This project is the revitalization Quinpool needs. The taller the better.

Lived in that neighborhood until recently This is a decent project in an appropriate area that will continue the revitalization of the Peninsula, the City in general and a neighbourhood that needs to be rebuilt.

Well planned developments that invest in our city core are what is needed for our city's and its people's prosperous future. Turning away the right investments such as this one, damages potential for those wanting to invest in our city's future.

Regrettably, Halifax Regional Municipality has not altered its cumbersome and adversarial planning approval processes since my last experience, when a proposed 7 storey affordable seniors housing project was rejected on Halifax Peninsula because it was too high. If HRM is looking for a best-practice example of good process, it need only look to its own leadership it has shown in Dartmouth's Main St. District.

Halifax urgently needs investment and development in order to not fall behind other Canadian cities. This proposal brings both of those things to an area that needs renewal, and does so with with a well thought out design that will help drive this city into the 21st century.

Higher density on the Peninsula should be promoted.

I support the development and think it's terrific for Halifax.

Density in Halifax will curb urban sprawl, we are staying in the bush leagues with stifling height restriction and red tape here!

I grew up in Halifax and moved to Alberta in my 20s. I'm about to finish my doctorate and would love to live in Halifax again one day. My concern is that this city is anti - growth / anti development. Whether, LRT, the heights of buildings or a stadium, it seems that local residents are unable to see the potential and become a leading mid sized city.
