WILFRIED LAURIER SCHOOL BOARD
WE, THE UNDERSIGNED RESIDENTS, PARENTS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, formally
submit this petition to voice our absolute opposition to the closure of Our Lady of Peace
School and any proposed amendments to alter the current zoning designation of the property.

Please! keep Our Lady of Peace elementary open. to, and for the great benefit of our community! Our children are thriving! Dedicated staff, volunteers, and an ideal student body ratio..protect
If anything, you should close the school who are doing a deficit, not those who can fit within their budget.
My niece is very happy and thriving at this school and would really benefit from remaining
Twin Oaks is significantly larger, already near capacity, doesn’t offer the same programs, and does not have enough room for all of the OLP students. Among other concerns, the loss of programs, overcrowding and splitting up kids to different schools, will negatively impact the overall quality of the children’s educational opportunities and environment.
The reason I’m signing this petition is because my daughter use to attend OLP and it was one of the best schools and the amount of support and help that she got throughout the years would be a shame to see the school close because so many wonderful people who work there and care about the students it’s truly like a family.comparing it to other schools that my friend’s kids go to there’s no such place like OLP. Even after two years of my daughter, not being there, I still say how great the school
This is a family oriented school where your child matters. From the janitor right up to the principal, they know and care for your child.
Both my boys went to OLP. Amazing school and staff.

My children went to that school as did my nieces and nephews. The curriculum in this school was wonderful at the time and the teaching staff was amazing. The location is well placed and in my opinion I always felt my children were in a safe space. Other options fail in comparison.
