The reason I’m signing this petition is because my daughter use to attend OLP and it was one of the best schools and the amount of support and help that she got throughout the years would be a shame to see the school close because so many wonderful people who work there and care about the students it’s truly like a family.comparing it to other schools that my friend’s kids go to there’s no such place like OLP. Even after two years of my daughter, not being there, I still say how great the school

I went to OLP when I was a kid for all 7 years, and made many life long friends. My graduating class was 32 kids, and I can still name every single one of my classmates since we were in the same classes together for 7 years straight. Small schools are best for young kids, it gives teachers the time to actually get to know them and for the kids to meaningfully connect together.

My friends go to this school and would be rezoned much further away from home which makes no sense. Also filling up schools to capacity is not a solution and would be a detriment to students and teachers alike

English language schooling is a right we must fight to protect. Closing a school that is running at almost 100% capacity to ship children off to another school to try and give them the headcount to survive is a disgrace.

This is a precious gem of a small school which has its own community. It’s a pity to close a school that endorses community and being a smaller school kids don’t fall in the cracks!
