Justice for Sivu
We are asking for justice for Sivu and for real accountability after this brutal assault. No one should have to face this kind of violence, especially from someone they trusted.
Our family is heartbroken and angry, and we are holding on to hope as Sivu continues to fight for her life. The pain this has brought into our home is deep, and the fear of watching a loved one suffer like this is something no family should ever have to carry.
Gender-based violence tears people apart and leaves families living with fear, grief, and helplessness. It destroys trust, safety, and peace. We refuse to stay silent while this harm is pushed into the shadows. Sivu’s life matters, and she deserves protection, dignity, and justice.

Because I didn't think what happened to me would happen to someone else, I never received justice she should!
My sister died on the hands of a man she thought loved her,this happened last year August.
I am signing this petition because gender-based violence is wrong and no one deserves to live in fear. Too many women are abused simply because some men believe they have power over them. Women often cannot defend themselves physically, and that should never be used as an excuse to hurt or control them. I am standing up not only for the victims of today but also because this could happen to any woman, including me. We all deserve to feel safe, respected, and protected. It's time for us to speak

I’m signing because Sterkspruit is burying women while we stay quiet. This year alone, more than 5 women have been killed by men in our community and it keeps getting treated like just another headline. This is not a domestic issues. This is not fate. This is men choosing to kill, and a system that lets them. Enough is enough. Every woman has the right to grow old. Justice for every woman we’ve lost. Protection for every woman still here.
