We as the community of ext 2 daveyton have been forced to suffer for years with load reduction. We are told that we do not buy electricity, but we do. We are tired
Ext2 is a quiet place this make us easy targets to criminals.Our kids cannot study,it damages our appliances.The fact that I spend more on buying electricity than my needs pisses me off when I wake up without it.We are taken advantage while other areas with more than 6 tenants are enjoying no power cut fraudulently.Must we join those who fight burn tryres before you realize that we do matter?
Eskom seems to have this power outage only in ext. 2 in Daveyton. This has become a serious matter and a resolution is needed urgently.
The impact is severe, waking up in the early morning without lights it's life threatening and unsafe hence Eskom needs to alert us and why it's only that section? not others....
Why can't we live like every other human beings who has electricity in ext 2, this favoritism must stop ,please kindly do something before our anger gets the best of us as a community. This is no more a plea it's a warning! 🤣

We call for the immediate cessation of load reduction in Extension 2. The continued electricity interruptions are placing an unfair burden on residents, disrupting households, businesses, safety, and daily life. The authorities must provide Extension 2 with a fair and reliable electricity supply and to review the justification and criteria for imposing load reduction in our community. We buy electricity.
