Before the Zionsville Transportation Committee, the Zionsville Plan Commission, or before the Zionsville Town Council, due to cultural, safety and environmental impacts, we, the undersigned, oppose the following items being placed into the Zionsville Transportation Plan currently being drafted:
1. placing the extension of Cooper Road from SR 334 north to Michigan Road;
2. and the creation of a new interchange at Cooper Road and Interstate 865.
We support establishing a current Zionsville Master Comprehensive Plan which includes a philosophy of equally alternate routes for the Zionsville rural areas and:
1. protecting our neighborhoods and cultural resources from the impacts of the interchange and extension;
2. preserving the rural characteristics of Zionsville provided by green space and the Traders Point Rural Historic Districts.
Seeing these names stack up reminds me why my own home and the history of this land are worth fighting for. We are getting very near the two hundred and fifty mark and I need you to get this link in front of your neighbors so we can hit that goal by the end of the day.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me how many neighbors care about the quiet fields and history of our community. This surge of energy confirms that we will not let our home be paved over without a fight.

This makes zero sense. The roads cant even handle what we have now. Just leave it alone.

Traffic is already bad enough. Building an interchange there will just invite more commuters to speed through our streets. No thanks.

What about the historic districts? You are going to destroy the whole vibe of the area for a road nobody needs.
