Final supporters
The crossing should be located opposite the new residential care homes leading to the path that accesses The Cotswold School, Bourton Primary School and Bourton itself. The need for a zebra crossing has been long felt.
Now, with even more children and elderly crossing this road (including during times when there is no lollipop service), as well as increased traffic volume, the need for a crossing and beacons has become a matter of urgency.

We just hit 250 signatures and the council still thinks they can ignore this death trap on Station Road. They are gambling with the safety of our kids and elderly neighbors while they sit in their offices doing nothing. This is just the beginning of the fight to force them to act.

Its a nightmare trying to cross there with the kids. cars just fly down station road like its a motorway. really need a proper crossing before someone gets hurt.
should have been done when they built the new homes. silly planning honestly.
ABOUT TIME! been waiting for years for something to be done here. its dangerous for the residents at the home too.
so scary watching the children dodge traffic. put some beacons in ffs.
My mum walks that way and finds it impossible to cross safely. something needs to be done now.

Too many near misses lately. the traffic is way too fast considering how many school kids use that path.
