Yukon's School Bus Drivers have waited for many months to sit down with their employer at the table.
They want safe buses and a proper maintenance schedule for all fleet vehicles. They'd like to keep our kids healthy by staying home when they're sick; they are asking for paid sick leave. They are seeking a first contract, and entrenchment of the Yukon's Fair Wage Act legislation in that contract.
Let's give them the support they need. Encourage Takhini Transport to meet them at the table with the goal of a fair contract. They've waited long enough.

PAY THEM WHAT THEY ARE WORTH. It is crazy they have to fight this hard just for basic sick leave and safe equipment. Get it done Takhini.

These drivers get our kids to school safely every single day in some of the worst weather in the country. They deserve decent pay and sick days like everyone else. Just sit down and talk to them already!
