Front line health care workers have earned our respect and they deserve our support. The Kapi'olani Respiratory Therapists democratically voted YES for union representation. We are currently in tough first contract negotiations with the employer. Help us tell the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children that Respiratory Therapists deserve a FAIR CONTRACT NOW!

Yes—you deserve to be recognized as a FRONT LINE WORKER!!! We RNs work side by side with you RTs. Without you—who manages pts on the vents? You deserve appropriate compensation for your expertise. Aloha

Our son was, a “Frequent flyer” to KapPICU for 13yrs. Each time there, RTs (as well as all the staff) worked endlessly & with so much aloha. Our Respiratory training in caring for our son was done by the best there is at KMCWC. And because of there time & efforts, we had many years added on to his life. Thank you KapPICU RTs

As a retired RRT/NPS, the RT's of the world are one of the most integral members of the health care team and are often overlooked. It is past time when we should be recognized. All my Aloha to all my colleagues, James " kimo" Calhoun, Honolulu HI.

I support my cousin, Arnold Casino, and other Respiratory Therapists in their endeavors to obtain much needed union representation. As essential frontline workers they deserve to have advocates who know what they want and need in order to continue to provide necessary and competent care to our community.

Please pay your skilled RTs a fair wage! They are amazing at what they do! After leaving to another healthcare facility, it is evident how amazing Kapiolani’s RTs are!

These hard workers are the best of the best and deserve as much as they can get in a fair contract.
