This is way over due. Our youth are the future but the city acts like they dont exist.
I grew up here and there was never anywhere safe to go. Give these kids a chance to do something positive instead of just floating around the neighborhood.
Schools are failing our kids. They need real skills and mentors who actually care about their future.
The city has nothing for the teenagers to do after 3pm. They either hang out on the corner or get in trouble. We need these centers now.
My son needs a place to go that isnt just a basketball court. Keep them busy and keep them safe.
