A decision was made to withdraw Dariush's candidacy for Student Body President. There was a claim that his slogan was inappropriate even though he sought approval from the administration for his revised slogan. This petition hereby stands so that all those who voted for Dariush to be your Student Body President can speak out and have their votes count. I am hoping that we can restore the same amount of votes that Dariush earned in the election and present to the school board evidence that Dariush earned a significant amount of votes and he needs to at least be admitted into a run off with the two other candidates. It is safe to say that as Americans we have faith in the Democratic process. Let the people be heard!
