The grant application was approved and Wrightwood will finally have a dedicated space for our children to ride safely. I am deeply appreciative of the 260 people who helped turn this vision into a reality for our town. Now we look forward to the breaking of ground and the start …
Wrightwood is applying for a grant to build a new park! Let's build something we don't already have, like a safe place to ride bicycles. Residential streets are just too dangerous to have our kids competing with all sorts of vehicles. Having dirt trails and berms is environmentally sustainable and economically responsible.
Reaching two hundred and fifty signatures serves as a clear signal that this town values safe spaces for our children. It is heartening to see such a collective desire for a park where families can enjoy their time without the risks of traffic.

Reaching our first one hundred signatures will provide the tangible evidence needed to capture the attention of the city planning committee. Please consider sending this link to a neighbor who shares our vision for safer local recreation.

I have two boys; ages 5 & 3 and we are really in need of more things to do in this area; particularly those that burn energy! I am so very for this! Thank you.

The high desert and mountains community’s need something that is no real bicycle scene in these areas and it will creat more business for local bike shops and more fun for family’s and even people like me 33 year old that loves to ride bikes.

I think this is an awesome idea for the community. My kids are into bike but we haven’t not ever seen a park that is heard towards that. I believe cities need more recreational things for kids and families. Not only does it help with keeping kids out of trouble but it brings family and friends together.

Please make this happen, it is the most exciting news I’ve heard in a long time. I grew up riding bikes on tracks and is an excellent way for kids and families to spend some time either competing or just riding for fun. Great plan !

Please sign! My boys would definitely love this... and it’s good to get the kids outside instead of inside on video games...
