As a BMX rider in the Town of Groveland, I constantly struggle to find places to ride. If I try to ride near businesses or near the houses of Groveland residents, I am told to "go take my biking somewhere else." It is frustrating being told I cannot ride my bike in my own town. I tried to find places I can legally ride my bike. I quickly found that there are no designated areas within a reasonable biking distance and since I don't have my license I cannot drive to these places.
I recently met a group of younger riders with the same passion for riding and the same issues that I face. This gave me lots of inspiration to make a difference in my community. I think I speak on behalf of the many people who ride bikes in my area that we need a place to legally ride.
I ask the town to either take it upon themselves to install a skatepark or give us a designated area to make our own.
I am confident this bike park will be well used and will make lots of people happy. The designated area will benefit not only the riders but the residents and business owners because we will not be riding in/near their property.

I HAVE BEEN CONNECTING WITH SO MANY RIDERS AROUND TOWN AND THE ENERGY IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! EVERYONE IS FED UP WITH HAVING NOWHERE TO GO AND WE ARE READY TO SHOW THE TOWN LEADERS THAT THIS PARK IS A NECESSITY!!

THE MOMENTUM BEHIND THIS MOVEMENT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! PEOPLE ARE FINALLY LISTENING TO OUR NEED FOR A REAL BIKE PARK IN GROVELAND!!

Groveland used to have a skatepark at the Pines until the tower was built. This needs to come back.
Might be tough since most kids are glued to the tv, but let's get more skate parks built!
There are a lot of riders in our town - bmx, skateboard, scooter. A skatepark would give kids (and grownups!) a safe & fun place to ride and be active.
Groveland stop slacking and use ya profits for a skatepark especially when your local high school is being redone for millions of damn dollars
It would be really awesome to have a skatepark in grove land it would keep us out of trouble
groveland needs a skate park!!!!
We have the same problem in Romania Bucharest. Hope they get their park done aswell as i hope i get ours done.

Give the kids a skate board park. As well as an area to ride their bikes. Safety comes first. So more of a reason these kids should have this.
