It has been requested to gather a list of names that would be interested in the ability to drive “Work-site utility vehicles” on the city of Holton streets.
The ordinance defines Work-site utility vehicle as:
Any motor vehicle which is not less than 48 inches in width, has an unladen weight, including fuel and fluids, of more than 800 pounds and is equipped with four or more nonhighway tires, steering wheel and bench or bucket type seating allowing at least two people to sit side-by-side, and may be equipped with a bed or cargo box for hauling materials. Work-site utility vehicle does not include a micro utility truck.
Seeing this much support for the utility vehicle ordinance is draining but I am grateful people see the necessity here. The path ahead is long and will likely be met with more bureaucracy than I have energy for today. Still I will keep pushing this forward because it matters.

It hurts nothing. We have been street legal in Blue Rapids for over 5 years and it's great. City makes money on it and just got to follow the rules.
