Work Out a Deal with PBSC To Turn Spaces Immediately By IVA North Into Green Sticker Parking
Dear President John Kelly:
We the undersigned students at Florida Atlantic University are signing this petition to expand the parking at the Innovation Village Apartments dormitory to include the 5 rows of parking that is directly behind IVA North. Currently those 5 rows are Palm Beach State College parking however PBSC never uses them, in fact a majority of people who park in those spots are FAU students who live in IVA North. Right now anyone who parks there receives a ticket which is not justly deserved. We urge you to work with Governor-Elect Chris Ferreira and Associate Director of Governmental Relations Zachary Pastor to work out an arrangement with PBSC so that those spaces immediately by IVA North can become FAU Green Permit Parking.

im still seeing so many people getting tickets in those rows and its honestly getting ridiculous. im working on getting a meeting set up with the administration to show them how many of us use that space daily.

the support for fixing this parking situation has been wild lately. it is clear im not the only one tired of getting tickets for spots that just sit empty all day. lets keep this energy going so we can get someone to actually listen.

its so annoying finding zero spots at 11pm when those rows are just sitting empty right there

tired of getting tickets just for trying to park near my own dorm
i will not get a ticket because there is not enough parking it is ridiculous !!!
As a girl, I don't feel safe when I come home from work late at night and have to walk from two parking lots away all the way back to IVAN when theres available parking right in front of my building. Sometimes I would rather pay the $25 ticket I get than take the chance of walking alone at night back to IVA.
