I, the undersigned, as a homeowner in Tamarac, and therefore a member of the Tamarac Homeowners’ Association, respectfully request the Tamarac City Commission to reject the application for a land use plan amendment and zoning change which would close one of the golf courses at Woodmont, and allow 255 single family houses to be built on the golf course. I understand that there is a covenant which covers that property, requiring it to be a golf course and country club for the benefit of the property owners in Tamarac until 2074.

Everything is getting overdeveloped around here. Woodmont is one of the only nice things left. leave it alone.
We bought our house here for the greenery and the view. If they build houses there it will kill all our property values and traffic will be a nightmare.
Ridiculous. We have a contract that says it stays a golf course until 2074. The city needs to respect the rules they already set.
Greedy developers trying to ruin the neighborhood again. dont let them do this to us.

I moved to Tamarac for the quiet life. Adding 255 homes right on top of the course makes no sense for the people already living here.
