We, the undersigned, demand a complete urgent review of the accident blackspot on Woodmere Avenue and a public consultation on the available options to improve this width restriction, (where heavy vehicles have taken to avoiding the unrealistic width restrictions, instead using the bus lane); this review to be funded by the county councillor’s annual £90,000 Highways Locality Budget designed for such local purposes; we rate safety on the public highway above cosmetic improvements.
