A group of developers are planning to build up to 115 houses on land between South Stoke Road and Behoes Lane in one of the most beautiful parts of our village. There are only around 1,000 houses in Woodcote, we do not believe our village can take an expansion of over 10% in one development. This development would destroy the essentially rural character of our surroundings and put unsustainable pressure on our limited resources and road network. It is totally inappropriate. We are against development of any sort on this site.
