United As One We Have The Power To Make A Social Change!
This petition is to advocate on behalf of women who need their voices heard, and who are living in shelters, living in poverty, single mothers, and women of violence and torture; who are living in ccommunities in the GTA.
As a community we need all three levels of government to hear our voice and concerns:
Easier accessibility to affordable housing for all women.
Increase rates for women on social assistance with children: Single mothers can gain access to fresh produce & dairy products, Afford access to after school programs & daycare.
Impleent stricter laws against individuals who assault, abuse , and traffic women and children.
More funding for Practitioners to assist / refer women who are suffering with mental health disorders.

its about time someone actually did something for the women in the gta. rent is insane and no single mom should have to worry about buying milk

KEEP THESE WOMEN SAFE! abusers should be locked up for a long time. stop letting these people out on the streets so fast.
