Harmony House is a local women’s shelter in Ottawa, Ontario. Harmony House provides transitional housing for women and children who are escaping violence at home. It was founded in 1987 and strives to provide support, distribute food from the food bank, equip single women and their children with affordable housing and offer sustainable assistance and care for those in need. its crazy they have to rely on food banks and donations just to run counselling programs. they need actual support from the city.
FUND THEM NOW. taxes go to way worse things than keeping women and their kids safe.

Harmony house helped my cousin when she had nowhere else to go. they do such important work for ottawa and relying on donations isnt enough to keep the doors open for everyone.
