OBJECTION TO THE PLANNING APPEAL Winters Garage: Proposed redevelopment for Offices Church Road, Penn, HP10 8LY Planning INSPECTORATE CASE REF: APP/x0415/A/09/2093883 Chiltern District Council Planning Application No. CH/2008/1512/FA WE, the undersigned, strongly object to this development based on : Size, Prominence and Design : The proposed building is set further forward and is out of scale (width and height and general bulk), and character with existing buildings and the street-scene. Inappropriate use of building materials. Does not preserve the character, appearance and setting of the Conservation Area and the surrounding Listed buildings. We call upon the Planning Inspectorate NOT to allow the proposed development of the Winters Garage site, upholding the decision of Chiltern District Council.

Totally inappropriate for our village. The council got it right the first time and the appeal should be denied.

Too big and way too tall. Why are they trying to ruin the look of the village with this ugly modern office block???

This design is completely out of place for Penn. It would look horrible right next to the historic cottages.
