As someone who frequents Main Street in Cold Spring, New York, I urge you to approve Flowercup Wine’s application for a license to operate a wine store at 82 Main Street in Cold Spring.

This shop would benefit the public in the following ways:

• The shop would bring to Main Street an everyday product that both residents and tourists appreciate, attracting more shoppers and thus contributing to Cold Spring’s economic vitality.
• Focusing on education, the shop would provide information about every wine, highlighting its maker’s techniques and its flavor profile.
• Frequent tastings would promote discovery, inspire conversations, and create a neighborly feeling.
• The shop would emphasize important categories not generally available in the area, such as organic and biodynamic wines, low-sulfite wines, wine from indigenous grapes, and New York wines.
