The feedback I have received from neighbors highlights a deep frustration regarding the lack of transparency in the recent decision to close our facility. I am currently preparing to reach out to management to demand that the meeting minutes are made public so that we all understand the reasoning behind this choice.

Everyone in our Wildwood Community deserves a vote to open the pool. I hope this petition helps. If the pool for whatever reasons does not open, our HOA payments should be lowered until it does.
#1 No (if status quo as last season), Maybe to Yes after side by side comparison(s) with "comparable" communities approach to their openings against wildwood HOA projected added as noted in their recent e-mail, "The costs for the additional cleaning and on-site supervision ranged from $20,000 to $30,000 for the pool season, depending on how often the pool were open. These estimates did not include any additional legal fees the community might incur. Even with this year's monthly assessment increase, Wildwood does not have the financial resources to take on this additional burden or risk. " #2 Yes, in support of full transparency
No - I support the pool closure. It is better be safe than regret pushing it hard. It is not worth the consequence even if the chance is very minute. Yes - minutes of meeting should be updated in the HOA website.
#1 - No, overarching safety for all is greater than the decisions of the few. I understand the loss but are those electing to "take the risk" willing to accept the added cost of cleaning and/or litigation? #2 Yes, perhaps with more information others will understand the cost of assuming risk.
Many pools in Wake County (with and without lifeguards and staff) have already opened for 2020. The easy decision is to close the pool. Our board needs to figure this out. They can start by looking at other comparable pool communities that are open. And people need to understand that the precautions are guidelines, not laws. Holly Springs PD isn’t going to arrest you if you’re 5.5 feet away from another neighbor. Finally, since there are clearly some who see this as a substantial risk, it is clear that the pool will be utilized less than usual. And as many have already said, our pool is rarely at capacity even during a typical summer.

1. Yes 2. Ummmm. Yes. I see lifeTime gym is opening their pool June 5th. I take it the crowd will be much more than here. What did they raise the dues for again?? Sounds like we all need a refund. This HOA is a joke...

I agree that a unanimous vote from the community as a whole should determine our pool outcome and we should have a voice in that decision. We could operate the pool on and “even and odd day” basis to help keep down overcrowding.
