As many of you might be aware, popular local Maleny co-operative music venue, the Upfront Club has been going through some rough times lately and things are up in the air about whether it will be able to continue trading.
The purpose of this petition is to reach as many people as possible to gauge interest from the community as to who wants to keep the Upfront Club as a Co-operative music and family restaurant venue in Maleny.

We are approaching 250 signatures and will submit this petition to the board of directors once we cross that threshold. Please ensure your local contacts have signed so we can present a verified list of community stakeholders at our upcoming briefing.

I have requested a formal meeting with the board of the co-operative to present the current tally of signatures. We are now preparing a proposal that outlines how this community support can translate into sustainable operating revenue for the venue.

Close it and Maleny becomes another country town with an ice cream shop and a lolly shop. The UC brings some spirit and heart to the town. Much needed. Please keep it!
I have been a member since day 1 and have had many great times there. I would hate to see it close. It is a place where we have so many memories and a place where we have come together to celebrate many peoples lives when they have passed on a place of memories. Lets hope we have many more. Love di
The Upfront Club is brilliant. It gives up and coming Musicians opportunities to play and have performing experience in a nurturing environment and it also as some of the best acts in the Workd coming through! Danny Rose is brilliant in his role with organizing the Music.
As an ex-manager of the club I know how hard it is to keep it afloat. Hopefully this situation will remind everyone of its value. It's an iconic place - let's not lose it.
I would love to see this Co-Op survive as it's a remarkable institution, part of the living fabric of the town. Been of tremendous benefit to local artists and musicians. I'll continue to eat there, the staff are friendly and the meals are delicious!
It seems like the club has been allowed to go down hill now for quite some time. Those running it obviously don't care anymore about it.

My wife and I have been involved with Maleny Upfront Club for over 4 years; as Maleny visitors; as customer; as member; as volunteer; and now as concerned Member! PLEASE support the Upfront Club to regain its positive, encouraging town trading!!!!
