Please join us in asking for a full investigation and audit into the spending of the 9 million dollar System of Care Mental Health grant awarded to Orange County NY by The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, SAMSHA.

The grant was awarded to the County to service youth and families struggling with mental health issues, 4 years ago and is now in the last year of the grant. The grant has been miss-used and abused. The funds geared towards mental heath was used to fund failed projects, nepotism, and was moved around to agencies that have nothing to do with mental health but everything to do with who you "play ball" with not who can serve the population best.

This is tax payer money being wasted on gift cards, trips and parties and to supplement the cut backs by the county. We are asking the State controller to audit the grant and look into the principles and practices of the spending of the Orange County 9 million dollar grant that was needed for our most vulnerable population. Help us stop the injustice and hold people accountable for there actions.

UNBELIEVABLE. My taxes should be used to help kids not for nepotism and gift cards. Someone needs to answer for this mess.
