Here in Welwyn Garden City, we are currently missing the facilitie of an indoor/covored skatepark. We do however have an unlit, dangerously built park, with some of the older ramps being almost verticle. Why you say? Well, as I am a skateboarder, and there is nothing that is almost safe for me, the ground is unsmooth, causing me and my fellow skateboarders to fall over alot. Also, the area of the skatepark is unlit, so in any grey cloud or usage of the skatepark after dark(Mostly in winter for this) is unprehibited without danger. Also, the current park is uncovored, making whenever it rains to slip out and be a real hazzard to all users of the park. We're not asking for any special million pound skate-park, but something decent, and safe(Preferably indoors, an abandoned werehouse could be used) Also, the people who pay for the park could also make a profit back by charging small fee's to the users.
