The school administration formally updated the dress code policy to permit shorts for all students during the summer term. We have reached our objective and the new rules take effect immediately. Keep an eye on the upcoming student handbook to ensure this shift is implemented exactly as promised.

It's time the school management team showed some common sense and integrated some smart shorts into the school uniform for those that want to wear them.
My son skipped lessons unfortunately due to the heat in the class room, needs to be able dress for the weather, school shorts or black shorts and a school black t-shirt should be allowed
I think should apply to girls too, my daughter doesn't wear "girl" clothes, she won't wear a skirt, she should be allowed to wear shorts also. The kids comfort should be taken in to account, its hot, let them be comfortable to learn! Wearing shorts should not affect their ability to have an education!
Stop being daft and let them wear shorts! Isn’t it more important that they don’t get heatstroke instead of “keeping to schools uniform” if there black shorts, what’s the issue? Pretty sure the teachers wouldn’t be sending their kids to school/nursery in full length clothes in this weather!
our school is being un fair with the boys wearing short to school but the girls can wear skirts and no tights and we find it unfair as it is so warm and we have to wear black trousers all day

As a man that’s suffered from heat stroke, heat injury is no joke. I’m sure a risk assessor worth his/her/their salt would know this. Shorts in lessons would not affect education just as no tights do not. Let the kids learn in comfort, or they won’t learn at all!!
