After students sending several emails to the headteacher and deputy they have declined the request for letting boys wear shorts in such hot weather. At our school female students can wear skirts and trousers whereas male students can only wear black trousers which attract the heat and cause overheating and students to feel uncomfortable and this can distract students due to sweating. Most classrooms do not have aircon or fans that reach all students. I have asked a number of male teachers if shorts should be allowed and majority agree with the statement.

it’s to warm and isn’t fair on boys for them to wear trousers in this heat and not shorts because girls get option for socks instead of tights so boys should have option of shorts instead of trousers
SCHOOL UNIFORMS SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE AND STUDENTS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A SAY IN IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO WEAR IT FOR YEARS ON END NOT YOU TEACHERS!!!
