The Westside Atlanta Charter School (WACS) planning team needs your help to demonstrate to Atlanta Public Schools the desire for a public K-8 charter school in Northwest Atlanta (zip code 30318)!

Families living in neighborhoods such as Adams Crossing, Carver Hills, Dupont Commons, Grove Park, West Highlands, and Underwood HIlls have limited public education choices because there are no nearby charter school options. Many of these families send their children to middle schools that are a long distance from their residence. Therefore the mission of WACS is to serve students, teachers, and families within Atlanta's Westside community. With reading and writing as the core of our curriculum and through a partnership with the Rollins Center at the Atlanta Speech School, we will provide a comprehensive learning experience that emphasizes the development of leadership among students, while challenging and encouraging educators to grow professionally and personally.
