Off The Cuff is a new venue designed and hand built by the owners Antony Porter & Jennifer Labbett. OTC Bar is asking its guests, friends and members to sign this petition in order to help offer support to our case for being granted full premises licensing activity including the sale of alcohol (12pm-11pm Sun-Mon, 11:00am-2am Fri/Sat), the provision of live & recorded music (Thurs 8-11pm, Fri/Sat 8pm-2am, Sun 8pm-11pm), the provision to hold art exhibitions, comedy nights & film screenings. Not only that, we will be having constantly changing stock focusing on niche wines, beers, cheeses and other products. Our furniture is also for sale.

By signing this petition, you are advocating that Off The Cuff (OTC Bar) located at Arch 645, 301-303 Railton Road, Herne Hill SE24 0JN be granted its proposed licence to trade. OTC is offering the community a diverse space that is set back from any residential housing; OTC is a place to experience live music, new talent, art exhibitions, comedy evenings & a generally good, eclectic crowd of all ages who come in for an evening and want to stay until close. This petition is verification that you intend to patronise the venue and are in full support of our plans including the application for serving alcohol until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights, the provision of live music on Thursday & Saturday nights and recorded music on Friday, Saturday & Sundays. We believe that not only are we catering to a more avant garde crowd, but that we do not create any disturbance in the square & the level of music we play is perfectly acceptable and next to inaudible outside our premises. We believe that OTC will add to the community and encourage the council to take into account the positive feedback that your signature to this petition tacitly implies.

With great regards,

Tony & Jennie

Fantastic addition to Herne Hill. Free hanging space for local artists. Furniture sales. Cheese. What's not to like?

It's a great new space doing great things, what's not to like? AND the Half Moon is not going to open for ages so it's a needed space for our community.

Can't see any reason why license shouldn't be granted. Commercial area, not residential. Pub, bar restaurants within metres. Welcome this new ammenity.

A great addition to the community of Herne Hill. Location is great and it will not be of any disturbance to the neighbourhood. We are missing a rood venue with authentic good live music and love for art and antiques. OTC, yes!

Can see no good reason for you not having the licence you want - others have it close by. Your space offers diversity much needed in Herne Hill.

OTC is the best thing since the Half Moon pub closed
