The feedback from local patrons has been invaluable as we prepare our formal response to the police representations. I am currently organizing the documentation required for our upcoming hearing to ensure our case remains clear and professional.

The level of support for our licensing application has grown significantly beyond my initial expectations. This momentum provides a clear indication to the authorities that our establishment is a valued part of the community.

I think it's a disgrace that Alf Arton has been treated like this. After all the years he has been a successful business man in Scarborugh, the job he has supplied and the revenue he must have helped bring to Scarborough - thos should never have happened.
Visited this bar whilst on holiday in Scarborough it was amazing. I felt very welcomed by all the staff and must say it's 100 times better run than any of the clubs we have in Swansea. If this application is declined Scarborough will be losing a really well run establishment.
There is no way this bar should close. We as a family always watch the football here. We are gutted it's shut now was always a great atmosphere for the kids and never any trouble. A very safe place to be.
I have worked in the bar for over 7 years and can see no reason why the licence application should be prevented. We never have any trouble from customers and I can't recall even one time when we have had to call the police out to the bar. They have no grounds or justification to block the licence application.
I can't believe the police are ten to stop it re opening I've been drinking in itis itis for over ten years and never seen any trouble or anything the police should be paying more attention to other establishments in the Boro with a far worse record for disorder..
Good pub for watching live sports, of which there aren't many in Scarborough. Never seen any trouble in there. Bring back out itisitis!
One of only a handfull of decent pubs in scarborough, absolute disgrace that its been treated like this.

An excellently run venue with NO reasons to call the police. Never a problem with under- age drinking. Never a problem with drug usage. This premises should only lose its licence if it was RUN BADLY... .... No evidence of that!!!
