SHEBEEN, 'A touch of vintage glamour in the heart of Kentish Town'
Having reached our first anniversary and by popular demand from our regular customers, friends and neighbours, we have applied for a variation on our current alcohol licence.
Kentish Town has undergone significant 'gentrification' since we opened Kentish Canteen in September 2010. Locals and customers of all ages have welcomed SHEBEEN as a sophisticated addition to the High Street.
As a genteel, underground 'speakeasy', serving cocktails until
2am on Fridays and Saturdays 'Doeth Not A Hooligan Make'.....as supported by The Kentishtowner, Nov 2012. Whilst receiving no opposition from health and safety, fire and the police, there has been one or two protestations from the local Residents Association.
This petition aims to provide evidence of customer desire for a late licence, local confirmation that recent late licence trials have had no negative affect on the local community, and general support for the police's confidence in us.
PLEASE HELP US WITH YOUR SUPPORT!
Thank you
Shebeen
Kentish Town needs more spots like this. The late license makes total sense for the area.
