The feedback from fellow listeners has been overwhelming. I am currently in touch with station management to ensure our requested schedule remains in place.

The momentum for this show is undeniable. It is clear that Tuesday mornings belong to Kimberly.

Thump & Growl is a vital part of my Tuesday mornings. The music & commentary Kimberly Massengill lays down gives great enthusiasm to what would normally be a humdrum work. Don't let this great resource die over mere budgetary issues or whatever else.
Thank you to the person mounting this petition. I've already shot an email to Mario Murillo. I understand his charge is to increase membership but just like the arts enhance educational goals in the schools, so music programs like Thump and Growl add immeasurable value. If WBAI wants to keep me tuned in, it will have to keep the music programs and during daytime hours.
will repeat this wherever I can...TnG is probably one of the top 5 best 2 hours of NY radio extant...it's my #1. No one comes close in terms of introducing me to music of which I would otherwise be unaware. TnG was my sole reason for supporting WBAI in the past few years. I will have no incentive to continue
As a former volunteer and phone slave at WBAI (OX7-2288), Thump & Growl is the only programming that caused me to support the station monetarilly in some time. No T&G, no money.
Valuable show highlighting a diversity of great music I'd never have heard anywhere else. Please leave it be!

This petition is technically moot as Thump and Growl was cancelled by WBAI. However, I am leaving it open for a little while longer, to continue gathering documentation of listeners' support for the show.

Thump and Growl is a refreshing show it gives me an opportunity to enjoy music I am not always privy to, as well as helps me have a little balance in my life. I am new to that show and just when I thought I had something I can enjoy I find out it's gone. Yes I enjoy the talk radio shows they are quite informative but sometimes you need a little break. That is what I got from Thump and Growl.
