This petition is to help keep Rock 97.9 from getting rid of the 1hr show called The Meltdown. This show is only played 2 hrs a week at 12 midnight to 1 am. This show plays heavy metal and gives the local metal scene a media outlet to help bring awareness to the local Metal scene. This show also allows local metal bands to have there music heard, while also supporting the bands by doing interviews with the local bands as well. Fort McMurray metal heads love this 1 hr show and it would be a shame if they get rid of it. So lets have our voice heard and keep this show on air!
