This petition is technically moot as Thump and Growl was cancelled by WBAI. However, I am leaving it open for a little while longer, to continue gathering documentation of listeners' support for the show.

Please Keep Thump and Growl on. It's one of a couple shows that I actually listen to...

Thump & Growl is one of the gems of WBAI. Kimberly Massengill is a rare diamond. The entire notion of WBAI tossing treasures away is bitterly disappointing. Please stop playing the repeated talk shows, and the veiled infomercals, and find Kimberly Massengill a reasonable spot on the line-up. Best yet is to leave her in her regular time slot, where we enjoy hearing her cleverly eclectic playlist, and her witty social commentary.

Thump and Growl is a refreshing show it gives me an opportunity to enjoy music I am not always privy to, as well as helps me have a little balance in my life. I am new to that show and just when I thought I had something I can enjoy I find out it's gone. Yes I enjoy the talk radio shows they are quite informative but sometimes you need a little break. That is what I got from Thump and Growl.

I am a loyal listener of WBAI and have been for over 30 yrs, as well as a BAi Buddy. Please, please keep music alive on BAI.

Please don't cancel my favorite show!

Kimberly Massengill runs one of THE BEST music shows - not just on WBAI, but in all of radio. The decision to cancel Thump & Growl and replace it with yet another talk show is a terrible one. Great music is a powerful salve. Intelligent DJs are the necessary healers who apply that salve. WBAI listeners are intensely conscious people who need a formidable breath of art such as the oxygen T&G delivers every time it airs. As for Kimberly, she is a deeply sensitive, beautiful genius. I get more insight from one sentence of hers than I get from multiple sentences from some of BAI's prime time talk show hosts. Do the right thing and KEEP THUMP and GROWL.

Thump & Growl is a vital part of my Tuesday mornings. The music & commentary Kimberly Massengill lays down gives great enthusiasm to what would normally be a humdrum work. Don't let this great resource die over mere budgetary issues or whatever else.

Why get rid of all the music in the morning? That doesn't make any sense, and Kimberly's show is awesome.

We shouldn't be fighting to keep Kimberly on the air. We should be campaigning to get her on more often. But here we are.... Keep "Thump and Growl" on the radio!

Keep Kimberly. It's that simple!!
