Final supporters
As a member of the public, we have been notified that previous planning has been rejected due to:
The lack of any dedicated parking associated with the proposal will be detrimental to current on-street parking availability on the highway, leading to indiscriminate parking to the detriment of the highway safety of pedestrians and vehicles contrary to the provisions policiesAS6, EV1, EV2, & EV3 of the City & County of Swansea Unitary Development Plan 2008.
I support the function of the Tuck Truck and hereby support the placement of the vehicle as believed that this highway is not busy, does not see much traffic on either the road or pathway, and there is ample parking facilities in the area for the purpose for which the area was built; to accommodate the 3 current call-centres that currently exist there. We would more-so benefit from having the Tuck Truck as a venue for food and refreshments where there is little time to travel to another venue in the area and also giving us the opportunity to chose where we eat.

The feedback from local workers confirms that we need reliable food options on Siemens Way. I am preparing a formal response to the planning department to challenge their claims about traffic and parking safety. Post the link to this petition on your Facebook feed and email your local Swansea councillor to insist they reconsider this application.

Food options round here are rubbish. The tuck truck is spot on and gives us something else to eat besides the same old stuff.
Council need to open their eyes. The road is massive and hardly anyone walks it. Let them trade.
BRING THE TRUCK BACK!! i work at the call centre and its a lifesaver when you only have a short break.
Siemens way is dead quiet anyway. The council need to stop being so difficult about everything. We just want a decent lunch nearby.
Ridiculous that this got rejected. There is plenty of space for lorries and cars around the call centres. Its not blocking anything.
