The school administration thought they could quietly push Ms. Ruppel out the door without anyone noticing. This massive surge of support proves they were dead wrong and now they have no choice but to face us.

Miss Ruppel is the best math teacher I ever had in my four years in this school. Every other teacher has been rude and insulting and just plain careless. Miss Ruppel cares about her students and her job and this school more than any other. The fact that the school is firing her/forcing her to resign, while the rest of these awful people are allowed to stay, is repulsive.
I had Ms. Ruppel when she was at Freehold Township. Probably one of the greatest teacher and person I ever met. Her love for her students and for the subject of math is unconditional. She does a great job at making the students understand what there doing by breaking everything down to understandable level. It is such a shame to see her be let go, clearly schools need a new way to evaluate teachers or have to stop being cheap. If Manalapan decides to keep her then are making a great choice, if not whatever school she ends up next is really getting themselves a prize. Best of luck Ms. Ruppel.
I just wanted to say that my daughter has improved her math skills and it would be a shame to not keep Ms Ruppel
Mrs Ruppel is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Over the years, I have struggled with math up until this year. I have never understood math as well as I have than in Mrs Ruppel. I have gotten the best grades in math than I ever have because of Mrs Ruppel which is why I believe Mrs Ruppel should not be fired.
Ms. Ruppel is the best teacher I've had in awhile and letting her go would be a terrible decision. Thus, I feel she should continue working at Manalapan high school. At the beginning of the year she said, "I wanted to be a math teacher to change students lives," and ever since that moment she became a well respected person in my mind. Therefore having her stay at MHS would continue the legacy of good teachers. Thank you.

Having Ms. Ruppel as my math teacher senior year was truly a blessing. She is not only a teacher, but a role model. Over the past 4 years in Manalapan, I have never had a teacher that was able to thoroughly explain a subject as well as build a trusting relationship between teacher and student, a trait most faculty in this school lack. Students are constantly surrounded by teachers who only care about what grade to put into the computer, while Ms Ruppel makes it apparent that she cares about all of her students, putting in extra effort whenever possible to ensure confidence in one's skill for each topic. She has taught me much more than just Senior Math Curriculum, and forcing her to resign from this position will be a loss for Manalapan High School.
