We're asking the school to keep Mz. Perry, as her teaching has made a real difference to the students and to us as a community.
So many students have pulled their grades up as a result of her approach to teaching. She teaches the lessons very clearly, she helps students to understand the material and she creates a classroom in which people feel they can do their best. That's the kind of teaching that makes a difference. It's not just about getting through the day, it's about enabling students to feel confident, to be engaged and to actually reach their potential.
When a teacher actually gets to connect with the students and help them improve, that should be something we value and protect. You'd lose Mz. Perry who has already helped so many students to do better in school. For families, for students and for anyone who cares about learning that would be a genuine loss.
We firmly believe that students deserve teachers who make a real positive difference and Mz Perry has done that in spades. Please keep her with pay included so the students can continue to benefit from her as a teacher, from her support and from the progress they've already made.
signing because we love ms. perry, shes made an extremely positive impact on her students and she's connected with many students who often believe that they will not succeed through English class. media literacy is a semi difficult topic for many students who struggle throughout all their classes to begin with, but she sets realistic standards/due dates, and brings kindness into every classroom. she makes assignments for groups that are fun and genuinely enjoyable to develop.
