I didn't play Pioneer WPU softball but I've known Vanessa for years. She is by far one of the most motivated and inspirational softball coaches I've had the benefit of witnessing coach the game. She literally eats sleeps and breathes her teams and WPU wouldn't be the same without her.

Coach V was such an inspirational figure in my life on and off the field. No one can make you understand one heart beat like V can and her passion is nothing short of contagious. I hope William Paterson will realize just how much they are losing by letting V go.

Coach V truly represents the heart and soul of WPU Softball. Her energy and passion are contagious. She made us ALL better players, and individuals. It would be a HUGE loss for WPUSB to be without this amazing coach. One Heartbeat.

I played for Coach V in field hockey in 2003 and thought she was great for the girls and the team. I hope she stays at WPU in any aspect she can. She is a wonderful asset to the program.

Coach V was the one who helped sway my decision on choosing WP, and for her I am more than thankful for everything that came with that choice. It is horrible to know V has given everything she has towards us girls and the whole softball program, to be turned away like this. Very poor decision.

Vanessa impacted not only my daughters but our lives as well. She supported her throughout her softball and education journey at WPU. She is a great person inside and out. The decision to fire Vanessa will hurt William Paterson for years to come. This is devestating news !!

One of the best coaches I had in any sport. Always restored the confidence in my self when ever it was taken away from me. The biggest supporter for each and EVERY one of her athletes. She is the reason why ONE HEART BEAT will be for ever and always.

She's the heart and soul of ONE HEART BEAT. That's all that needs to be said.
