As a resident of one of the following school districts: Granite District, Davis District, or Salt lake District, I would like to add my voice of support to those requesting that the Districts mentioned above designate a school for Arabic Dual Language Immersion Program starting Fall 2017.

Updates

I have spent my mornings emailing district administrators to explain why our children need this language program to thrive in a global future. The feedback from local families has been overwhelming and confirms that I am fighting for the right cause.

Seeing this momentum grow feels like a weight lifting off my shoulders because my own children deserve to see their heritage valued in the classroom. This is no longer just a dream I held quietly at the kitchen table but a movement that the district now has to acknowledge.

My kids really want to learn this. It would be such a great opportunity for them to have in school.
