There has been a recent issue in regarding the head of the Softball association as it pertains to the Bordertown softballleague in New Ipswich. Annie Pelkey, the ex head coach who got terminated off the team for personal non sports related issues needs to come back!!! Our children need her and feel that this situation has gone on for long enough!

Annie pelkey has spent the majority of her time coaching teams including soccer and softball for quite some time. She has undergone surgeries and sickness and still managed to make games and practices. Her commitment was on point as several times she would offer rides to players whom could not make it due to other family commitments. She is proactive in making sure that all the team members of softball played as a team and maintained a great relationship with the parents and players of the team. Her continual positive, encouraging and professional character has always been on point. Her coaching skills and knowledge of the game have also been outstanding. She has had no complaints from the players or their parents and her conduct on and off the field has been nothing but pleasant.

There is no active reason why she should have been kicked out. I am writing this petition so that maybe the word can get out there that softball really needs coach Annie back in the playing field. She has been very active with the community and deserves the spot. My child will not be playing for anyone other then Annie Pelkey, headcoach!

I invite anyone of her friends, family, players, parents of players and anyone who knows and can confirm that what has happend is unjust. sign this petition in hopes that we can share the word about how unprofessional the new administration is handling things and get Annie back! Back to fair play and back to having an awesome season like the kids deserve!

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this because I simply never expected so many people to care about bringing Coach Annie back. This energy belongs entirely to all of you who refuse to stay quiet when you see something wrong.

What ever happened to sports being about the kids, or the love of the game, or kids feeling like they are apart of a team?? Annie has coached for many years and dedicated herself to her community and the kids in it. She has taught them what "team" really means & that win or lose to show good sportsmanship (which in my opinion most teams & coaches lack). The administration should be ashamed of themselves for not seeing all the positive things Annie has done. I am thankful I do not live in a town or district where the administrative team is so negative and does not put the children first...

Doesn't matter if her medical health needs were sport related or not. What matters is that she was there as much as she could be even when she had medical issues. If she is doing her job, the kids are being treated and coached correctly, and she is a Great Coach she needs to come back.

Annie is a very dedicated coach. She should be able to continue coaching her daughters team. Every other parent that coaches is allowed to stay with their childs team asks she should be able to. She is being denied volunteering to help with the team in all capacities. Why not allow her to assist?

I can't even begin to explain how much you all signing this means to me. I truly am everything this petition states I am.. My passion for coaching multiple sports and the kids I get to bring into my life makes it all worth it. It is sad though that a person in an authority postion would let personal feelings about a disagreement which happened 2 yrs ago get in the way of me coaching these kids.. I will stand up for what I believe in to get back to them on the field!!!!
