The opposition keeps insisting there is no room for a facility like this in our community. I am tired of the excuses but I am not walking away from this fight.

The momentum behind this push for a local YMCA is becoming impossible for the opposition to ignore. It is exhausting work to keep fighting for this facility but seeing this surge of support keeps me moving forward.

I really hope this happens. it would be so good for local families who dont want to spend a fortune on a gym membership.
My kids need a place to swim and play sports. The community has been lacking this for years.
We seriously need a place for the kids to go after school. Driving all the way to the next town is getting old.
Why is there even resistance to this? It is a no brainer.
Newburyport is perfect for this. i would be there every single day if it opened.

YES! about time we got one here. stop dragging your feet.
