Please support your local teachers & sign this petition to abolish the new circular issued last firday 4th March. This petition is basically giving no chance to us teachers who do not have five years temporary experience or permanant teaching experience under our belt. It's main point is to give teachers on the panel all rights to temporary and permanant positions in schools all over Ireland and leaving alot of us teachers umemployed with no chance of work for the upcoming years! It is very important to voice our opposition right now!! We ungently need your support and appreciate it so much. Thanking you Neeve

I am currently finalizing a formal letter to the Department of Education that details the negative impact this circular will have on staffing stability. Consultations with teacher unions are underway to ensure our specific policy grievances are presented during upcoming discussions.

The department really doesn't have a clue what it's like on the ground. Absolute joke of a policy.

This is just ridiculous. Young teachers are the future and this circular is basically kicking them to the curb before they even get a proper start. Sort it out.

Ridiculous decision. Schools need fresh talent not just same old same old. Stop making it impossible for new grads to get a job

UNFAIR. Graduates have worked so hard for years just to be told they have no chance. Shame on them for doing this to us.

My daughter just finished her degree and now this happens. Completely demoralizing for everyone entering the profession right now.
