Many residents have been in touch with concerns about the introduction of bus lanes, the removal of trees and the joint cycle and walk way, which is very narrow. We will present this petition to the Council's Cabinet asking them to reconsider the decision.

Seeing one thousand signatures on this petition is deeply personal because I walk these streets every day and truly fear for the safety of our neighborhood. This number proves that I am not alone in my anxiety about these changes. We are ready to take this message to the Council.

I spent the afternoon walking down Caerphilly Road and the lack of space for pedestrians is even more dangerous than I realized. Your stories about the trees being cut down and the narrow paths confirm that we are right to push for a change. I am preparing all of your feedback to present to the Council Cabinet.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one worried about the future of our neighborhood streets. It is clear that the Council needs to acknowledge the genuine frustration felt by those who live here.

I am totally behind this petition. Ridiculous waste of money and will spoil the quality of life for the local residents who want to use the pavements. Bus lanes make it very dangerous for pedestrians as the road is too close to the path.

This is not a well thought out plan. Buses run freely as it is and where will people park when on-street parking is removed. The local shops will also suffer as there is already a woeful lack of suitable parking. The area will just become more congested

I cycle this route every day and sharing a cycle path with pedestrians is a recipe for disaster. Instead of uprooting trees for a poor solution, why not improve the existing road, enabling an extra, switchable lane, such as on North Road south of Mainly Stadium?

It's a shame to chop down these lovely old trees, and it seems a partial bus lane won't make a real difference to the traffic problem either. Please reconsider this decision, and consult more with the residents of the street regarding parking bays.

We live just off Caerphilly Road, if you construct permit only parking we will never get to park any where near our homes, we have enough problems with the gcse college and hospital staff parking in and around our street. Cant see myself what good it will do.

This would appear to be an unnecessary expense, particularly with the current climatic changes and threats of floods. It seems no-one is listening to the experts who state that more trees means less flooding., whereas less trees means MORE flooding.

Not concerned about trees or the road improvements just the bus lanes that are slowing flow of normal traffic throughout the city

What is wrong with the city's planners not respecting the natural environment but polluting our city with yet more traffic !! Flood in is caused when tress and vegetation are eroded and air quality deteriorates .Grow up Cardiff City council and RESPECT our TREES and parks that make our town a decent place to live.PLEASE!!
