I have had the privilege of knowing Mr. Lloyd Day during his career at Arlington ISD, and I would like to attest to his many fine qualities which made him a successful, well-liked, and effective employee, especially in the leadership positions he held over the course of his career.
From my experience with Mr. Day, I can say without a doubt that he is a person of upstanding character. He is hard-working and dedicated, and constantly strove to lead with integrity. He is an excellent listener, and has a unique ability to communicate with staff and students, and served as a mentor to many children over the years.
On a personal level, Mr. Day was kind and helpful to both fellow employees and parents of students, and worked tirelessly as a morale booster for his team of teachers and staff. He has an uplifting personality, and was always open to new ideas and suggestions of how to make the school a better place for students and staff.
Mr. Lloyd Day was an exemplary employee of AISD, and I have no doubts about his abilities to succeed in the future.

we came to Hill from Wimbish specifically because of Mr. Day. Sadly, my youngest child only got 1 1/2 years under his leadership. We are all heartbroken

Mr. Day was a fantastic principal when my daughter was at Boles Jr. High. He was at every event and knew every child. He was fair and caring.

My daughter is in 1st grade at Hill. She still expresses to me how great Mr. Day was, and how much she misses him being her principal. Thank you for the positive impact you have made on so many, including my daughter!

I liked the fact I could see him at all the fine art performances of the kids. It wasn't that he was just there, but he looked like he was really having fun and the kids knew and sensed it too.

Mr. Day was a wonderful principal and is missed daily by his staff and students. He was an effective instructional leader who always had the well being of his "kids" and faculty as a priority. He always made everyone feel loved. I have no doubt he will be successful at whatever he does. He is a godly man. A piece of the heart of Hill Elementary is missing.

When my daughter went to Hill, she wanted to learn all about what Mr. Day did so she would know what to do when she becomes principal someday. What an inspiration!

Mr. Day is one of the finest men I've ever met. I never had to worry about my kids because he was their principal, he knew their names and he watched out for them.
