I have been reading through the notes you all left and it is clear that many people are feeling the same frustration I felt when I started this. It is honestly overwhelming to see so many of you come together to ask for a change that actually works for us. I am working on getting our feedback in front of the right people and will let you know what happens next.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you feel the same way about these changes. This momentum belongs entirely to everyone who chose to speak up today.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything but I need some personal space, Everyone is touching elbows in the new classroom setup. I can hear the person breathing next to me, it's not fun trying to read an article and have heavy breathing by my ear while I have my music on.
I hate how if you need to ask someone one question, you have to fill out a whole form. To take a test, you have to fill out a form. You can't do anything without filling something out during PLT. And during PLT, the teachers walk around monitoring your every movement. It's weird being watched like that....I feel like they are a babysitter and not a teacher.
I FEEL HIGHLY UNCOMFORTABLE.
i hate plp the teachers don't even teach us anymore we need change i especially need to see change in the school because it effects me more than anyone
the teachers need to chill they shouldn't be making change to the school like every month, it's crazy they need to get their stuff together

I agree that the paperwork is dumb. In a normal high school we don't need to fill out a paper and tell the teacher we studied to take the test. BVP wants to be different and that's fine. But they could do something like letting us take a content assessment outside of school only on the school chromebook. If there were tabs ever open then it shouldn't count. Also, if we study over the break and people want to get their work done early the likelihood of them remembering everything from multiple focus areas is slim. And that's not because of our study tactics. Those come in when we can't pass an assessment after some tries. If we could take assessments when we are ready which includes outside of school I guarantee that most of the kids would be getting themselves out of the hole.
