The drama program at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe high school has nowhere to perform our productions aside from our classroom that has insufficient seating and no room for a backstage area or our sets. My goal, along with every other student at LFO that has a connection to our drama and band programs, is to have an adequate space to perform for more people than we are allotted at the moment. Our drama program gets no funding. Each of the tickets we sell for our shows directly funds the next. But we cannot make enough money off of tickets if we don't have the space to fit a certain number of people. Therefore, if given an auditorium to perform in, we can sell enough tickets to sufficiently fund our program. That is why we demand an auditorium!

Mrs. Mchenry is an excellent drama teacher. She taught me AND my younger brother and we both love her. The space being used to practice is not too big and I don't see why they can't have at least one drama auditorium when the school has TWO basketball courts. Drama is a popular enough class to need an actual practice space.
